Meet Mike Carlson
Faith, Family, Friends, Farm, Fun - that about sums me up! I’ve had a multitude of career experiences and now I’ve been helping folks buy and sell property for over five years in MN lakes country and I’m loving it! Specializing in residential, new construction, lake property and hunting/farm land I am ready to help you get the most rewarding experience out of your purchase or sale.
In my spare time I enjoy growing our family hobby farm, spending time with our church, golfing, educating our children about nature, and getting outside to explore, hunt and fish whenever possible. I’m married and have 5 kiddos.
I’m originally from Erhard and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 2001. From there I received a B.S. in Wildlife Fisheries Sciences from South Dakota State University and spent my summers in remote Alaska. Shortly after, I met my wife at Fair Hills Resort, moved to Kansas for a short while and then to Texas where I went back to school and received a Master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. From there I owned and operated a couple small businesses, worked in the ministry, and eventually became a Nebraska State Trooper before finding our way back to Minnesota in 2015.
